X Factor UK 11: Top 12

This was by far the weakest episode of this season. Almost everyone delivered awful to boring performances. Sure, a couple of acts managed to pull off some good numbers, but I was ultimately disappointed as a whole. I guess, they all need to step it up next week no? Why do I have a funny feeling a shocker boot will happen tomorrow?

On with the show!

12. Only The Young
Boom Clap
[GROUPS]
Awful lead singers. Really.

11. Stevi Ritchie
Footloose
[OVERS]
The novelty is getting old. Time to go home.

10. Jake Quickenden
She's Like The Wind
[BOYS]
There's something terribly lacking in Jake's performances. Not sure what it is, but he's been turning in pedestrian numbers since the live shows.

09. Jack Walton
Eye Of The Tiger
[BOYS]
His voice was way too thin to take command of the song.

08. Lola Saunders
When You Believe
[GIRLS]
Messy arrangement. Uneven vocals. Too much emotions.

07. Lauren Platt
Let It Go
[GIRLS]
Let it snore. Let it snore. Haha. This was too safe and bland.

06. Ben Haenow
I Don't Want To Miss A Thing
[OVERS]
Can we retire this song already?

05. Andrea Faustini
Listen
[BOYS]
Overwrought.

04. Jay James
Skyfall
[OVERS]
Not sure if the song was a good choice to match his tone, but parts of it worked.

03. Paul Akister
Try A Little Tenderness
[BOYS]
The arrangement was interesting and he sounded solid.

02. Stereo Kicks
Let It Be/Hey Jude
[GROUPS]
Not a fan of this group - there's just way too many of them - but this was a strong performance. The solos and duets at the beginning sounded lovely and the build up at the end gave it the dynamics it needed.

01. Fleur East
Lady Marmalade
[OVERS]
Possibly the most entertaining and most consistent performance tonight. Good job!
